Q: Which domain parking companies allow me to point my MX records to MailboxPark?
Q: What is domain name parking?
Domain parking refers to a monetization service displaying ads on a landing page. MailboxPark does not park domains or display ads on your domain name. MailboxPark uses the email data your domain names are receiving and gathers that data to monetize for domain owners.
Q: What is domain email parking?
Email parking allows domain owners to monetize the email traffic sent to their domains. To park an email domain with MailboxPark, a customer points a domain’s email exchange record, or MX record, to our servers. By doing so, MailboxPark gains access to the email traffic sent to that domain and we resell that data to companies that send email.
Q: How much can I earn from partnering with MailboxPark?
Earnings can vary depending on a number of factors, such as volume and type of email traffic received by a domain, and the overall number of domains you possess.
Currently, MailboxPark pays partners based on the volume of commercial email sent to a domain; however, traffic originating from individuals, botnets, or any other non-business entities cannot be monetized at this time. At the end of the day, we prioritize quality over quantity. We are able to provide our partners with a better understanding of their earning potential after just a few weeks of monitoring.

For you and your tax counsel’s consideration: Individuals and single member limited liability corporations, or a single-member LLC, should use their Social Security Number (SS#). If the payee is a sole member LLC with an Employer Identification Number (EIN), both the SS# and EIN should be included in the W-9. Only corporations and partnerships should use their Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN#). It’s important that you provide complete and accurate information as the IRS now requires us to use e-Verify, their program that matches names and TIN#’s.
